The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus is one of Amazon’s most popular Fire TV Stick models. It’s essentially a rebranded version of the second-generation Fire TV Stick 4K, released in 2023. The Fire TV Stick Plus is positioned above the base Fire TV Stick HD (which is also currently on sale ) and offers a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor paired with 2 GB of RAM for fast app launches and a smooth user experience. The key advantage, of course, is support for 4K Ultra HD streaming. You can watch 4K content with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and immersive Dolby Atmos sound, meaning you can watch 4K HDR content on most 4K TVs.
The Fire TV Stick features built-in Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 support for connecting game controllers, headphones, and other Bluetooth accessories. The device features a refreshed Fire TV interface with support for the new Alexa+ AI service, which is free for Prime subscribers and $19.99 per month for non-Prime subscribers. Amazon has partnered with Microsoft, so you can play hundreds of Xbox games using Xbox Game Pass cloud gaming. All you need is a Bluetooth game controller and a stable internet connection (and, of course, Xbox Game Pass).
