As Part of Amazon’s Spring Sale, the Titanium Apple Watch Series 10 Is on Sale for Just $449.
Flagship Apple Watch models typically start at $399, but the price only goes up. Wanting a larger size will increase the cost slightly; wanting cellular connectivity will lower the price even further. But the titanium Apple Watch—the “premium” material, if you will—is the most expensive version, with the exception of the Ultra line. These models typically start at $699, but a larger size will set you back $749, and if you want a stainless steel band, a whopping $799. Right now, you can get a titanium Apple Watch for just $449 during Amazon’s big spring sale—if you’re happy with the previous-generation watch.
Here’s the deal: Amazon is currently discounting the titanium versions of the Apple Watch Series 10 as part of its spring sale. You can get the Natural or Slate models with rubber sport bands for $449, and if you want a stainless steel band, you can get the gold version for $499 . That’s a pretty good deal, considering the watch previously retailed for $799.
So, that’s the Series 10. The Series 11 is Apple’s newest flagship watch. However, in my opinion, that doesn’t really matter. The Series 10 is still the best Apple Watch for most people , as it has most of the Series 11’s features while often being available at a discount. Both models have large displays with brightness up to 2000 nits; both support heart rate and sleep tracking with alerts for each; both support emergency SOS calling and are water resistant to 50 meters; both use the same S10 chip and support the same gestures; and both have a Find My feature, so you can use your iPhone if you lose it.
The Series 11’s key advantages are few, but they’re worth noting: battery life is better—up to 24 hours instead of 18; in battery-saving mode, you get 38 hours versus 36; and while both models support fast charging (from 0 to 80% in 30 minutes), the Series 11 can deliver eight hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charging. The Series 11 also supports 5G if you choose a cellular plan. That’s basically it. Otherwise, the Series 10 is essentially the same watch. Amazon is currently offering the Series 11 on sale, starting at $649 . You just have to ask yourself whether these extra features are worth the $200.
