Apple’s March Event Livestream: MacBook Neo, IPhone 17e, M5-Powered Macs, and More.

It’s time for another Apple event! Today, March 4, Apple will announce new products, and despite the company’s insistence on secrecy, we already know most of the announcements . In fact, Apple has already announced a number of new products this week ahead of the event, including the iPhone 17e , iPad Air M4 , and new Mac computers —including the M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max variants.
But even though the company already shared a ton of news on Monday and Tuesday, that doesn’t mean Wednesday’s event will be boring. In fact, Apple may announce one of its most exciting products in years during its March 4th event: the MacBook “Neo.” This is a “budget” MacBook, smaller than the 13-inch MacBook Air, and available in a variety of fun colors. Think old iPods, but now in the form of an ultraportable (and potentially affordable) MacBook.
Of course, nothing is set in stone. Apple could deny the leaks and rumors and announce other products instead. But I strongly suspect the MacBook Neo will be one of the big hits at Wednesday’s event. Other rumors suggest Apple is preparing to announce the first-ever MacBook with a touchscreen , and Apple’s own statements seem to support these claims. Tim Cook posted this video at X on February 26th, showing a user “sculpting” the Apple logo onto the lid of a MacBook. This may mean nothing, or it could indicate that users will interact with their MacBooks using more than just a trackpad and keyboard.
We won’t know until Apple makes its announcement during its keynote on Wednesday. To stay up-to-date with all the news, follow our live blog below. I’ll update it before, during, and after the event, sharing any news Apple shares.
