This Eufy Outdoor Camera Kit Is Now on Sale for $250.

Installing outdoor security cameras in your home can quickly become expensive, especially when you factor in subscriptions and additional equipment. This deal on a four-pack of Eufy SoloCam E30 cameras makes the calculations a little more manageable. It’s currently $299.99 on Amazon, down from its regular price of $549.99, which, according to price tracking tools, is its all-time low. So, each camera costs around $75, which is certainly still pricey, but unlike many other camera brands, these don’t require a monthly subscription, which is a big plus.

Each of these IP65-rated cameras is powered by internal batteries, which last approximately three months, depending on the frequency of motion detection. Solar power support helps extend this lifespan. According to Eufy, two hours of direct sunlight per day is sufficient to maintain a charge. The cameras can also be powered for continuous recording, including short preview clips, although power cables are sold separately. Each camera offers a 360-degree field of view and a 70-degree tilt, helping reduce blind spots around driveways or yards. Video is recorded in enhanced 2K resolution with an f/1.6 aperture, providing clear nighttime footage with infrared night vision. There’s no built-in floodlight, so color night vision isn’t available, but black-and-white images are often sufficient for general surveillance.

Video recordings can be stored locally on the included HomeBase S280 base station, which has 16GB of built-in memory, or on a microSD card up to 128GB (sold separately) if you need more space. Smart home support includes Alexa and Google Assistant, but Apple HomeKit is not supported. Two-way audio is provided, and the HomeBase can support up to 16 cameras, allowing for future expansion. This configuration is not suitable for those who require cloud storage or advanced smart home integration. It is better suited for those who want local control, predictable costs, and broad coverage without running wires throughout the home.
