This is the company’s most ambitious phone to date, confidently moving toward flagship status while maintaining its signature minimalist aesthetic. PCMag called it the company’s “best phone to date,” earning an “excellent” rating for its performance, design, and camera improvements.

The iPhone 3 retains Nothing’s signature transparent back, now with a new design and the Glyph Matrix—a ring of 489 microLEDs that light up for notifications, timers, and even fun “Glyph toys” like a mini clock or spin the bottle. It’s a fun detail, but you’ll likely either love it or hate it completely. The phone feels durable, crafted from 100% recycled aluminum and protected by Gorilla Glass 7i with an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. Its 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 2800 x 1260 resolution and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and animations.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset handles everything from multitasking to demanding games like Genshin Impact with ease. The 5,150 mAh battery lasted around 15 hours in PCMag’s battery life test and supports 65W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse charging for smaller devices.

What do you think at the moment?

Camera quality is another step up for the Nothing. The triple 50MP module covers wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto ranges, producing images with crisp detail and accurate color. The software is also clean—Nothing OS 3.5, based on Android 15, makes the experience simple and uncluttered. The smartphone isn’t loaded with AI features like some competitors, but everything essential is implemented well: it offers five years of Android updates and seven years of security updates (which is reassuring).

The only serious drawbacks are the lack of mmWave 5G support and still limited AI integration, which may confuse future-oriented users. But overall, the Nothing Phone 3 feels like something new in a market where everything looks the same.
