Garmin Venu 2 Plus Is $190 Off Right Now

The factory refurbished Garmin Venu 2 Plus will retail for $259.99 on Woot for the next five days or until it sells out, whichever comes first.
Important to note: this is a renovated space. This means it may show signs of use, but it has been serviced and tested to perform properly and is backed by a 90-day manufacturer’s warranty . If you prefer to buy new gadgets, this may not be your choice. However, considering new ones typically cost $449, that’s a solid savings of $190. Shipping is free if you have Prime, and while most locations are covered, they don’t deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, or PO Boxes.
This model won CNET’s Editors’ Choice award for 2022, and even now it holds up well among the growing crowd of fitness smartwatch hybrids. Based on the original Venu 2 ( read our detailed review here ), it adds phone calling capabilities and voice assistant support (when paired with a smartphone). You can send messages, ask questions, or schedule a reminder without taking out your phone. However, it’s not completely hands-free – you’ll need to press a shortcut on the watch to activate the assistant. There’s also Wi-Fi support, which means your data is automatically synced whenever you’re back in range, plus you can download playlists from Spotify or Amazon Music straight to the watch. It can store several hundred songs if you prefer to work without your phone. Battery life is about nine days, even with daily GPS workouts and sleep tracking.
As far as fitness goes, it covers the basics and then some. It supports over 25 workout modes, from yoga and Pilates to HIIT and strength training, with guided animations that are surprisingly useful, especially if you’ve ever half-figured out how to do a new exercise. Garmin has also added HIIT-focused workouts, with categories like EMOM and AMRAP broken down by muscle group and intensity. There’s also a Health Snapshot feature that gives you a quick two-minute scan of your heart rate, breathing, and stress levels. For Android users, the watch is especially convenient thanks to notifications that give you control over each application. iPhone users don’t get the same level of customization, a ZDNet review noted.
