My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 Speaker
I’ve been a fan of Ultimate Ears since I first received the Ultimate Ears Megaboom 3 in 2018 and still use it as my personal portable speaker. Wonderboom is their smaller and more portable version. Wonderboom 4 just came out this summer, but you can already get it for $59.99 (originally $99.99) after an impressive 40% discount. This is the lowest price achieved according to price tracking tools , and is cheaper than the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 3 .
The Wonderboom 4 is a slight improvement on the already good portable, rugged speaker, the Wonderboom 3. It’s small enough to fit in most people’s hands and is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance. The 14-hour battery life is triple what you’d expect from a decent portable speaker. This new version features USB-C for faster charging and a podcast mode that adjusts the EQ to suit your vocals. Unfortunately, the Ultimate Ears app doesn’t have full EQ customization or support.
The sound is where most Ultimate Ears speakers shine, using 360-degree audio, making it ideal for group listening. Like the Podcast mode, there’s also an Outdoor mode that enhances the EQ at higher volumes, so you can listen to it outdoors in noisy environments.
The Wonderboom 4 is great for outdoor use or for those who like to listen to podcasts or audiobooks at home without headphones, especially at its current price of $59.99. There aren’t many outdoor speakers at this price that can compete with it, with the exception of the JBL Clip 5, which is currently selling for the same price.
