What’s New on Netflix in May 2024

Netflix’s May lineup is heavy on comedy, headlined by John Mulaney’s six-part live event, which coincides with the 2024 Netflix Is A Joke Fest, taking place May 2-12 in Los Angeles. John Mulaney Presents: All in L.A. will air in installments starting May 3 and ending May 10. Also airing live are “Katt Williams: Woke Foke” (May 4) and “Roast of Tom Brady ” (May 5), as well as an awards special. Kevin Hart ( Mark Twain Prize: Kevin Hart , May 11). Other comedy specials coming in May include Udom Taefanich ( Deaw Special: Soft Super Power, May 1) and Rachel Feinstein ( Big Guy , May 21).

The slate of true crime documentaries includes Endgame: Attack on Wembley (8 May), which details the violence that took place during the Euro 2020 final in July 2021, when ticketless fans stormed the stadium; “Cooking for Murder: Uncovering the Cesar Roman Story” (May 10), a docuseries about a murder case involving the Spanish chef; and “Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies and Scandal” (May 15), about the data breach of a notorious dating site. Later that month, the three-part docuseries Dancing for the Devil: The Cult of 7M TikTok (May 29) follows TikTok dancers caught in a cult led by management company 7M.

Other May highlights include the first part of the third season of Bridgerton (May 16) and Unfrozen (May 3), a comedy film directed by and starring Jerry Seinfeld (along with Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Hugh Grant and Amy Schumer). , which outlines: the history of the creation of Pop-Tarts.
