Google cameras require a subscription to unlock all of their features, but you still get their core features for free. Right now, Amazon is running a sale on four Google security cameras with up to $80 off. This sale is my favorite Amazon deal to date and is perfect for people who want to stay in the Google ecosystem.
Google Nest doorbell
The Google Nest Wireless Doorbell is a classic video doorbell. It’s battery powered, so installation is as simple as installing a bracket on the wall and attaching the camera to it. The trade-off is that you’ll have to charge the camera about every two and a half months (depending on your usage). The battery version doesn’t connect to your call since it’s wireless, so you’ll be at the mercy of your phone (or Google Home speakers if you have them) for notifications. Google Nest Security Camera
If you need an indoor camera, the Google Nest Wired Security Camera is on sale for $69.99 (originally $99.99), which is the lowest price for this camera, according to price checker tools. This camera gives you three hours of video event history and one hour of local backup storage in case your Wi-Fi goes down. It shoots 1080p HDR video, has night vision, can recognize faces (if you pay for a subscription), and has dual-band Wi-Fi. This camera, intended for indoor use only, received an “excellent” review from PCMag .
Google Nest Cam with spotlight
For those looking for a security camera with floodlight, the Google Nest Cam with Floodlight is available for $199.99 (originally $279.99) after an $80 discount. The spotlight’s camera is bright, with two adjustable 2,400-lumen LED white bulbs producing 4,000K brightness. It received a “good” review from PCMag because it records 1080p video and responds to Google Assistant voice commands. The voice command capability is what sets this floodlight camera apart from most of the competition, and if you like having a Google system in your home, this is your only option.

The Google Nest Cam, whether indoors or outdoors, is essentially a Google Nest Cam with a spotlight, but without the lights and battery powered. You can get it for $129.99 (originally $179.99).
