My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: Echo Pop With Kasa Smart Bulb
One of the best things about Amazon devices is that they can usually be found at generous discounts, even outside of the big sales days of Prime Day and Black Friday. This is one of those moments. Several Echo smart speaker bundles that include the Kasa Smart Bulb are on sale for up to 63% off, but my favorite deal of the bunch is the Echo Pop bundle for $22.99 (originally $62.98).
You’ve probably seen these kits before, but you might remember Amazon bundling speakers with the Sengled smart light bulb . I tried the Sengled light, which I liked because, unlike the Hue lights, there’s no need for a hub, but I had some trouble connecting it to my Echo and the Google ecosystem. The Kasa Smart Bulb is the same concept, but it’s from TP-Link, which makes other smart technology devices. The Kasa smart light bulb also has better reviews than Sengled on Amazon (if that means anything to you).
The Echo Pop price dropped to $17.99 on Black Friday and likely won’t be the same until Prime Day this summer. You can think of the Echo Pop as a more cost-effective option compared to the Echo Dot . It’s essentially the 5th generation Echo Dot cut in half, with a flat bezel instead of a spherical one.
