This New Samsung Tablet Comes With a $100 Amazon Gift Card
Samsung has updated the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite several times since it was first released in 2020: it was updated in 2022 and again this year. The 2024 Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is currently on sale for $329.99 on Amazon, which isn’t particularly good value for money compared to other mid-range tablets available. However, Amazon offers a $100 gift card, which makes this deal more tempting.
The 2024 Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is not yet available on Samsung’s own US website (only the international product page is visible). The tablet debuted internationally in March, but only recently became available in the US exclusively through Amazon, available on Amazon Prime and available for immediate delivery.
At its current price, the Tab S6 competes with the 10th generation iPad, which can be found on sale for $349.99 (originally $449). Both are mid-range tablets, but the new Tab S6 includes a $100 gift card and two years newer, which can go a long way in terms of ongoing support through software updates.
The 64GB S6 Lite model starts at $329. You can double the storage to 128GB for an extra $80, but you can’t upgrade the 4GB of RAM. It features a 10.4-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2000 by 1200 pixels, a new Exynos processor, a thin metal body, two AKG speakers with Dolby Atmos, a microSD slot for up to 1 TB of external memory, and an 8 MP rear camera. , 5 MP front camera and battery life up to 14 hours.
The main difference between the 2022 model and this one is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, an additional two hours of battery life, and a newer Android 14 OS out of the box. The design, S-Pen, screen and 4GB of RAM are the same. If those things aren’t important to you, the $159.15 2022 version might be a better buy (or even the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ ); just keep in mind that newer models will take longer to receive software updates than older ones.
