Shark IQ Two-in-One Robot Vacuum Cleaner With 58% Discount

Shark is well known for its handheld vacuum cleaners, but it also makes robot vacuum cleaners that rival Roomba vacuum cleaners. One in particular, the Shark IQ 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop, is currently on sale for an all-time low price of $188 (originally $449.99) after 58% off.

At this price point, the Shark IQ really has no competition. Most name-brand robot vacuums with floor cleaning, intelligent LIDAR mapping, voice control, and other features typically cost more than $350. The closest Roomba to this price point is the Roomba 692 , which is available for $169.99 as of this writing. However, this Roomba doesn’t have floor cleaning, smart mapping, or other features you can get with the Shark IQ.

On a bare floor, the Shark IQ can mop up spills at about 100 strokes per minute. My experience with the Roombas , which is a “mop”, was unsatisfactory: I ran a damp cloth over the floor once and thus was unable to deal with stains. Other Shark IQ features include no-go zones, so you can choose where Shark doesn’t want to clean; convenient navigation to clean a specific place; sound floor cleaning system; three-hour battery life; and LIDAR sensors so it can avoid obstacles.

However, a shark’s IQ is not perfect. It tends to get stuck under low-lying furniture. It also doesn’t have a self-emptying base, so you’ll have to empty the trash manually. It is also not the best option for picking up pet hair from carpeting. But for $188, you won’t find another robot vacuum that excels at these things anyway, let alone one that has the features that the Shark IQ has.
