This Free App Turns Any Website Into Your Mac’s Wallpaper

Have you ever wished your Mac wallpaper was a little more… animated? Plash is a free app that lets you turn any website into your desktop wallpaper, and you can even interact with it.

There is an easy way to turn any YouTube video into wallpaper on Windows – this is the Mac version of this trick and you can use any website. There are several practical and boring reasons why you might do this. For example, maybe you’re underwhelmed by the desktop widgets in macOS Sonoma and would rather turn your desktop into a giant Google Calendar. However, let’s be honest: the fun reason is that you can set something awesome and awesome as your wallpaper.

How to turn any URL into an animated wallpaper on Mac

Start by downloading Plash from the Mac App Store or Github . The app is in the menu bar – click the icon to customize it.
