Verizon Will Give You $200 and a Nintendo Switch for Your Home Internet Subscription

Verizon sure knows how to grab your attention. Every day on March 10 (March 10), Nintendo celebrates the Mario franchise with special offers and promotions , and this year Verizon decided to join the trend by offering customers who sign up for the Home Plus internet plan a free Nintendo Switch . Plus, you’ll receive a $200 Target e-gift card or a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go. This is a pretty sweet promotion, but not everyone will qualify and there are a few caveats to keep in mind.

The most important thing to note is that not every home has Verizon Home Plus internet access. You can check if the service is available at your address by pasting it into the Verizon search bar . To qualify for the offer, you’ll need to be able to sign up for 5G Home Plus or LTE Home Plus . The 5G Home Plus internet plan costs $80 per month ($70 with autopay), or $45 if you’re already a Verizon mobile customer. LTE Home Plus costs the same price but doesn’t offer the same top speeds as 5G Home Plus. The speed and data plan you can receive depends on your address.

How to Get a Free Nintendo Switch from Verizon

To be eligible for a Nintendo Switch, you must be a new Verizon Home Internet user. If you have a contract with your current ISP, Verizon will cover your early cancellation fee up to $500. The Nintendo Switch deal is available through March or until Verizon runs out of Nintendo Switches.

You will need to activate and maintain your internet plan for 65 days, after which you will have 60 days to activate your Nintendo Switch (or no later than August 31, 2024, whichever comes first). At this point, you’ll have to stick with the plan for 180 days before you can cancel without Verizon charging you $299.99 for the gaming system.

You’ll also get $200 to spend at Target or on a laptop.

The icing on the cake for this deal is that you’ll also get your choice of a $200 Target e-gift card or a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go. Both of these promotions will last a little longer than the Nintendo Switch offer, with an expiration date of April 10th.

If you’re interested in the $200 Target e-gift card, you’ll have to follow the same rules as Switch, but you have until September 10th to claim your prize. It will be sent by email within 48 hours of registering with Verizon. The rules are the same if you choose the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go, but this free bundle also gives you the option of choosing Fios 1 Gig or Fios 2 Gig internet service (though if you choose Fios, you won’t get the free Nintendo version). ).
