This High-End Samsung OLED TV Is up to 43% Off Right Now

If you follow CES every year, you know that the first few months of the year are filled with back-to-back new technology product releases. And inevitably, older versions start to be discounted as they fall out of the hierarchy.

One such example is the Samsung S95C OLED TV , which Woot is selling from $1,869.99 (originally $3,297.99) after 43% off. According to my trusty price checkers , this is the lowest price ever since its release. If you have Amazon Prime, you get free shipping; otherwise shipping will cost $6. (Please note, however: Woot only ships to the 48 contiguous US states)

The deal expires March 14 at 1:00 a.m. ET or until TVs run out. You can choose the 65-inch screen for $1,869.99 or the 75-inch screen for $2,849.99 (originally $4,497.99) after 37% off. As I hinted earlier, the reason for the discount on the Samsung S95C is because Samsung introduced a new lineup , including the new S95D.

That said, the S95C is still an excellent OLED TV . In fact, according to PCMag, it was the best OLED TV available at the time of its release last March. The S95C has a 4K resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels with a 144Hz refresh rate, perfect for smooth gaming experience. It has 4 HDMI ports and since it is OLED, it has an excellent contrast ratio for displaying deeper blacks and overall excellent picture quality. The disadvantage of OLED compared to LED-backlit LCDs is brightness. But the S95C still delivers an impressive 888.9 nits of brightness. It’s the brightest OLED TV PCMag tested back in March of last year, and that’s one of the many reasons it was our Editors’ Choice OLED TV.
