These Roombas Are up to 38% Off

Roomba can be a huge time saver when it comes to housework, as long as you understand that they don’t work miracles . And right now , Amazon is running a sale with up to 38% off select iRobot Roomba kits that can mop and vacuum floors and carpets. Some of these Roombas are at or very close to the lowest price they had after using price check tools . Here are some of the best deals.

iRobot Roomba Combo i5 and i5+

If you want things under $250 and need a vacuum and mop, the Roomba Combo i5 checks those boxes. The same Roomba, but with a self-cleaning base, was recently on Best Buy’s Drops for an all-time low price of $299.99, but didn’t last long before selling out. Without a self-emptying base, this will be one of the best prices you’ll see. It has smart mapping that allows Roomba to learn the layout of your home and vacuum specific areas such as living spaces, bathrooms or hallways. It can also vacuum carpets and pick up pet hair, and is compatible with Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant-enabled devices.

If you don’t want to clean your Roomba every time it fills, but instead empty the base every two months (depending on usage and how dirty your floors are), then the Roomba Combo i5+ might be right for you. The i5+ is the same Roomba as the i5, except it dumps its own trash.

iRobot Roomba Combo j5+

If you want to do everything the i5+ does and more , check out the iRobot Roomba Combo j5+ . iRobot differentiates the “j” from the “i” models by having better navigation and mapping features. The “j” model has a “PrecisionVision” navigation feature that can detect obstacles (such as cords, pet accidents, etc.). The “j” also has a smart map that allows you to specify where you can’t vacuum or mop, which the “i” doesn’t have. If this sounds like a worthy upgrade to you, consider the j5+; otherwise, i5 models can use Roombas for much less.

Roomba j9+ combination robot

For those looking to splurge on a high-quality Roomba, the Roomba Combo j9+ is worth considering. According to iRobot, the j9+ has twice the suction power of the j5+ and has a retractable mop mount (instead of the trash can you’ll have to take on and off on other Combo Roombas). It automatically avoids carpets when mopping (so you don’t have to create “no-mopping zones” on your map), automatically refills solution from your home base, and prioritizes rooms based on how dirty they are. If you value these upgrades, consider the fancier j9+.
