You Can Now Bookmark Your Favorite Posts in Topics

Like Instagram, Threads has an annoying habit of refreshing your feed every time you open the app. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve lost interesting messages in Threads after moving to another app or responding to a notification, and it gets annoying every time.

Well, it looks like Threads has implemented an old solution to help people like me: bookmarking. Yes, Meta’s X/Twitter competitor finally lets you save posts and enjoy them at your own pace.

How to bookmark posts in topics

Here’s how saving a message works: In the Themes app on your smartphone, tap the three dots icon next to any message. Click the “Save” button to bookmark the specified message. That’s it: your bookmarked post is now saved for posterity. As of this writing, only the Threads mobile apps allow you to bookmark posts; not on his website . Moreover, this functionality will only be available if you have updated the application to the latest version.

To view the messages you’ve saved in Topics, tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner of the app to open your profile, then tap the double-line icon in the top right corner to open Themes Settings. On this page, select Saved and you will be able to view all the posts you have previously bookmarked.

Saving posts in Threads is a great solution for keeping track of content, at least until the original poster decides to delete their account , deletes the post, or Threads removes it due to copyright infringement or other issues. To protect against this, consider downloading media from Threads or taking screenshots of messages that you know you’ll need to access offline.
