How to Download Music on SoundCloud
SoundCloud is a community where artists share recordings, remixes, edits, and curated lists that aren’t available on streaming platforms like Spotify or Apple Music. It’s a great place to discover niche, indie, and upcoming music, and unlike the giants, SoundCloud has always offered the ability to download music for free. That is, if the artist chooses to; otherwise, you’ll have to pay for the $10/month SoundCloud Go+ plan, which lets you listen to music ad-free and offline.
How to Download Songs Directly from SoundCloud
If the artists have provided the song for download, go to the song’s page online and make sure you’re signed in to your SoundCloud account. Go to the Menu button below the waveform and select the Upload File option.
If this option is missing, it means that the artists did not provide the song for free download. If you want to download songs for offline use on your iPhone or Android smartphone, you’ll need a SoundCloud Go+ membership for $10 per month.
Once registered, open the SoundCloud app and click the Download button that appears below the album or song.
