The Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones have excellent bass and treble response. The included ear tips make it easy to ensure a tight seal, which is critical for noise cancellation. After improving on the 2022 Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II, the third generation of the 2023 QuietComfort Earbuds improves on several aspects of an already very good pair of headphones. The active noise cancellation (ANC) technology is the same, but Bose has added spatial audio (they call it immersive audio) that lets you hear the world around you through the headphones. They’ve also added the AptX adaptive codec to give you a better experience with high-quality streaming media.
Like most Bluetooth headphones these days, they come with touch controls that let you tap or swipe on the screen to control your media. They also have an IPX4 rating, which means you can splash water or sweat on them without worrying about them getting damaged. You can expect four to six hours of battery life from a full charge and 12 to 18 hours from the case, depending on use. They take about two hours to fully charge.
