These HP Monitors Are on Sale for Presidents’ Day

HP is running a Presidents’ Day sale , with HP products up to 61% off. Some of their best deals are related to monitors, with some two-monitor sets for almost the price of one monitor. Just remember that not all offers are as good as HP might lead you to believe – I’ll share the best ones.

After looking through most of the laptop and monitor deals, I found that some of the “deals” are what are called ” price increases and list price synchronization .” This happens when a seller disguises a price increase as a discount by increasing the “list price” of an item and then lowering that list price to show you a “sale price” that may be even higher than the original price. Make sure you always use price comparison tools and don’t buy derivative products when retailers have such big sales. These caveats aside, I found the following deals to be good value for HP monitors.

HP ‎M27fw FHD Monitor Kit

The HP ‎M27fw FHD Monitor is an entry-level 27-inch monitor with an IPS (in-plane switching) panel that delivers better viewing angles and better color accuracy and consistency. It also has an “always-on blue light filter” for those who want to protect their eyes from blue light . The screen has an anti-glare FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080, a 75Hz refresh rate, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 5ms GtG (accelerated) response time, and 300 nits of brightness. You can read the full specifications in their datasheet here . It usually costs $269.99, but you can get one from Amazon for $189.99 or two from HP for $289.99 .

HP V27i G5 FHD Monitor Kit

The HP V27i G5 FHD Monitor is also an entry-level 27-inch anti-glare IPS monitor and is a slightly more cost-effective option than the HP M27fw FHD Monitor. This monitor has a low blue light mode, but does not have a filter like the HP ‎M27fw FHD. The native FHD resolution is a 1920 x 1080 display with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 75Hz refresh rate, 250 nits of brightness (which isn’t much), and a 5ms GtG (accelerated) response time. Full specifications can be seen in the datasheet here . Please note that this monitor cannot be adjusted in height without a monitor arm. The HP V27i G5 FHD Monitor costs $189.99, but you can get one for $149.99 and two for $229.99 .

HP U32 4K HDR Monitor

The HP U32 4K HDR Monitor is a higher-end monitor offered by HP for content creators. This 32-inch 4K UHD IPS panel features brightness, excellent color gamut coverage, and color accuracy, making it ideal for people working in the arts. It has a native resolution of 3840 by 2160, a 16:9 aspect ratio, 400 nits of brightness, a refresh rate of just 60Hz (not suitable for heavy gaming), and no adaptive sync. The screen has extensive tilt, swivel, landscape-to-portrait, and height adjustment capabilities. Read PCMag’s full review here . There is no two-pack available for this monitor.

HP M22f 22″ Monitor Kit

The HP M22f 22-inch monitor is another entry-level IPS monitor with the smallest screen in the lineup. It features the same “always-on blue light filter” as the HP ‎M27fw FHD. The FHD 1920 x 1080 anti-glare screen has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits brightness, 5ms GtG (accelerated) response time, 75Hz refresh rate, and is fairly lightweight at 4.85 pounds. Full specifications can be read here . The One HP M22f 22 Monitor typically costs $144.99, but you can get one for $119.99 and two for $169.99 , which is less than the original price for just one. If you’re looking for the best budget 2-pack, this is it.
