Best New and Upcoming Drops From Best Buy
In the fall of 2023, Best Buy released the ” Best Buy Drops ” feature on its app , giving you a look at high-profile product releases, limited editions, launches, and limited-time offers at some of the lowest prices I’ve ever seen. . You can also browse past Drops to get an idea of what products they include, such as Xbox Series X, 4K smart TVs, and iPads at record low prices.
How Best Buy Drops Work
You’ll need an account with Best Buy, but not necessarily one of the paid ones (though joining My Best Buy Plus or My Best Buy Total will get you extra discounts on some of those products). You will be asked to verify your account via email and gain access to the application. Once logged in, go to the Prizes tab at the bottom of the screen to find limited-time offers in categories such as gaming consoles and accessories, wearables, e-mobility products, small appliances, smart homes, toys and more. Weeks Best Buy will update the list of new deals that drop.
Where to Get Best Buy Drop Deals
Upcoming products will appear in the Best Buy app under the Upcoming Releases tab, and past products will appear under the Past Releases tab, but you’ll only see the discount if the product has an active deal. Live offers typically begin at 11:00 am ET. on the day the product is listed for sale and valid until approximately 6:00 PM ET or while supplies last. You will see a percentage scale showing how much of the inventory was purchased. If you see a specific product that interests you, you can always sign up for Drop Alerts and receive push notifications when Drop goes live.
Next drop
Last year, HP tried to bring back the all-in-one portable desktop computer with the HP Envy Move , which currently sells for $999.99. According to the price comparison tools I use, it used to go down to $799.99. For reference: last week on the HP website the price of the same computer dropped to $849.99 . Based on past Best Buy Drop deals, you’ll likely get a new all-time low price, but it remains to be seen exactly what price it will sell for. Keep in mind that you can only access this offer through your phone using the Best Buy app . This deal will run until 6:00 PM ET on February 13th until they sell out (it most likely will). Upcoming Releases
Next on the list is the Shark MessMaster Portable Wet/Dry Vacuum , currently $99.99 (originally $129.99). It will go on sale on February 14th, likely starting at 11am ET, like other products in the app. Remember, you can always sign up for push notifications and set up your app and profile before 11am EST if you want to be reminded about the release.
On February 15th , the Arlo Pro 4 Spotlight Camera Security Kit will go on sale in the app. It’s currently $249.99 (originally $599.99), which is the lowest price I’ve seen after checking price comparison tools. But once it drops, you can probably expect another record low price.
The 1TB SanDisk Extreme Afrofuturism Edition portable SSD will go on sale on February 16th. It’s currently $137.99, but will likely go even lower.
If you’re looking for a hair straightener, mark your calendar for February 20th. Best Buy will be selling the Dyson Airstrait straightener . As of this writing, it’s $499.99, with no discounts available when checking price comparison tools.
The Dyson V8 cordless vacuum cleaner will go on sale on February 21. It’s currently $349.99 (originally $469.99), but after checking price comparison tools, it appears to have dropped to $280. You’ll likely get the record low price if you manage to get it as soon as it drops.
The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Gen1 HP10 will go on sale on February 22. It’s currently $499.99 (originally $599.99) after a $100 rebate, but I saw it drop to $450 during the holidays.
On February 23, another Dyson vacuum cleaner will go on sale – Outsize Cordless Vacuum . It’s currently $499.99 (originally $599.99) after a $100 discount, but after checking price comparison tools it’s down to $399.99.
