Amazon Offers Free Courses on Artificial Intelligence
Amazon wants you to work in artificial intelligence. More specifically, they want to teach you the skills needed to do one of these jobs.
In a blog post on Monday, Amazon announced the company’s new ” AI Ready ” initiative, aimed at giving two million people access to free AI skills training by 2025. In total, the company is offering eight new free classes for different experience levels. and goals. In addition, AI Ready’s goal is to offer a new course on generative artificial intelligence to more than 50,000 high school and university students. The company has also entered into a new partnership with Code.org to teach students about generative artificial intelligence.
But back to the free classes: Whether you’re new to the world of artificial intelligence or an experienced person looking to boost your skills, Amazon thinks it has an AI Ready class for you. ( AWS hosts over 80 other AI classes and resources , but not all of them are free.)
Classes vary in length, experience level, and topics, and the list covers many different use cases. I can imagine, for example, that Amazon’s Introduction to Generative AI course would be useful for anyone who wants to gain a basic understanding of how generative AI works.
Business classes and non-technical classes in artificial intelligence
Amazon has three courses for those who want to learn artificial intelligence skills for business, as well as other non-coding situations:

Low Code Machine Learning on AWS . If you don’t know a lot of code (but have some background), this course can show you how to create AI models without much technical know-how.

Creating Language Models on AWS . Amazon will teach you how to use the SageMaker training libraries to create the language models that are the basis of generative AI.

Amazon Transcribe – Getting Started : This course teaches you how to use Amazon Transcribe, which converts speech to text.
