Mark Your Calendar for 2023 Holiday Delivery Times.
Winter break is still a long way off, but it will be here before you know it, so now is the time to mark your calendar to ensure your gifts arrive on time. The major shipping services – USPS, UPS and FedEx – have deadlines for sending mail and packages if you want them delivered before December 25th.
Please note that December 24th is a Sunday this year, so delivery services on this day may be more limited than usual. Additionally, the times listed below apply to items shipped within the United States. For international shipping, check each service’s holiday calendar.
Holiday delivery times for USPS, UPS and FedEx in 2023
If you would like your gifts to be delivered by December 25th, please mark these dates on your calendar:
USPS Holiday Delivery Dates 2023 (if received before December 25th)

Delivers by December 16th from Ground Advantage.

Dispatched by December 16th via First Class Mail.

Ships by December 18th via Priority Mail Service (December 16th for Hawaii).

Dispatches by December 20th via Priority Mail Express Service.
Local post offices will be closed December 24-25 and regular mail will not be collected or delivered. USPS will deliver Priority Mail Express on both days.
2023 UPS Holiday Delivery Dates (if arriving before December 23rd)

Ships before December 19th with UPS 3 Day Select

Ships by December 20th via UPS 2nd Day Air.

Ships by December 21st with UPS Next Day Air
For UPS Ground, use the service’s shipping calculator to determine the Christmas arrival deadline. (This will most likely happen before December 19th.)
Select UPS stores may be open on December 24 with modified hours, but will not offer pickup or delivery services. UPS will be closed on December 25th.
FedEx Holiday Delivery Dates 2023 (if arriving before December 24th)

Submit by December 19th using FedEx Express Saver.

Ships by December 20th with FedEx 2Day and 2Day AM.

Ship by December 22nd using FedEx SameDay.
Some FedEx locations may open on December 24 with modified hours, but FedEx delivery services will not be available. FedEx will close completely on December 25th.
