Nintendo OLED Switch Is $60 Off Right Now

Nintendo is the Apple of video game brands. They don’t put their products up for sale often, so when they do, you better jump. Earlier this year , Wuth sold a limited number of white OLED Nintendo Switches for $310. Then, during Prime Day, some third-party sellers at major retailers ( including Walmart ) were selling the white OLED for the same price, and some less reputable sites were offering cheaper deals.

But right now, you can get the white OLED Nintendo Switch for $289.99 (regularly $349.99) at Monoprice with free shipping to the 48 contiguous US states. ( red and blue versions are also available at the same price). If you haven’t heard of Monoprice, it was named one of Newsweek ‘s Best Online Stores of 2020 and has good reviews on Sitejabber .

Keep in mind that prices can change at any time, and if you’ve been waiting to get the OLED switch, this is a historically good price—the lowest I’ve seen since Amazon Prime Day last summer.

Why Nintendo’s OLED Switch is Better

If you’re not sure why the OLED version of the Switch costs $50 more than the regular version, we’ve got a guide to help you decide whether it’s worth upgrading . The main differences are the screen and memory size. The more expensive model features a 7-inch OLED screen that’s an inch larger and also sharper and brighter than the original LCD screen. (This difference is moot if you primarily play Switch on your TV, however.)

The OLED version has an improved stand that is great for mobile gamers. It also has a sleeker dock with an Ethernet LAN port for faster Internet connections. The memory capacity is 64 GB, which is double that of the second version of the Nintendo Switch.

Although Black Friday is right around the corner , my advice is to always take advantage of a deal when you see one. There’s no guarantee that the Nintendo Switch OLED will go on sale during Black Friday, and even if it does, it will be priced below $289.99 or that you’ll be able to purchase it before stock runs out. . Even if the stars aligned and you were lucky enough to be in this position, we’re probably talking about saving no more than $10 or so. So why take the risk? That’s an entire month you could spend playing Super Mario Wonder.
