How to Download Videos From X/Twitter

You can’t scroll through X (formerly known as Twitter) without coming across funny and interesting videos. While the official X app doesn’t allow you to download videos, there are a few easy ways to get the job done, whether you’re using Android, iOS, Mac, or PC.

How to Download Twitter Videos to Your iPhone

You can use shortcuts on your iPhone to download any video from Twitter. To get started, install the All Media Downloader shortcut. Then open X, find the tweet with the video, and click the Share button below it. Select Share via… , scroll down and select All Media Downloader . The first time you do this, the shortcut will guide you through the setup steps (including prompting you to follow the creator on social media). You can skip these steps and the shortcut will work wonders.

Once it’s done, you’ll find the downloaded video in the Videos album in your iPhone’s Photos app.

How to Download Twitter Videos on Android

There is a useful app called TwiTake on the Play Store. Once installed, copy the link to any X video and paste it into TwiTake. The app will download the video and you can tap the Share icon to save it to your photo gallery or send it to any other apps.

How to Save Twitter Videos to Your PC or Mac

When you see a funny video on your computer, use Twitter Video Downloader . Copy the link of any tweet containing a video, paste it into the Twitter Video Downloader site, and the site will download the video for you. Right-click this video and you will see the option to save it to your computer.
