What’s New on Disney+ in September 2023
If you’ve been waiting to watch (or rewatch) the much talked about live-action movie The Little Mermaid , you’re in luck – it’s coming to Disney+ on September 6th.
Of course, September will bring more Star Wars: Ahsoka , which premiered at the end of August. New episodes air every Wednesday, as well as a special behind-the-scenes feature featuring the series’ cast and directors ( Master and Apprentice: A Special Look at Ahsoka , which premieres September 15).
Marvel fans will get a second season of I Am Groot , as well as two new specials: Marvel Studios’ Assemble: The Making of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ” on September 13 and “Assembled: The Making of Secret Invasion” from Marvel Studios on September 20.
Finally, if you prefer documentaries to cinematic universes, there’s Animals Up Close with Bertie Gregory (produced by National Geographic and premieres Sept. 13) or Lang Lang Plays Disney , a world-famous pianist’s concert (premiers Sept. 15).
