Don’t Miss These August Class Action Deadlines

Whether your location and user profile data was stolen on Meta (Facebook), you never received a full refund from SeatGeek for a canceled event, or DirecTV called you without your consent, you can simply claim damages through multiple group claims. calculations taking place this month. How to get compensation from Meta that shared personal data and location data of users

In two separate class action lawsuits, Meta agrees to pay $725 million for sharing Facebook users’ data with third parties, as well as $37.5 million for users’ location through the Facebook app, even after users turned off the location services setting.

To become a first class member, you must be a Facebook user in the United States between May 24, 2007 and December 22, 2022. For the second application, you must use Facebook between January 30, 2015 and April 18, 2018, and At some point during this period, your Location Services settings for the Facebook app should be turned off.

There is no clear information about how much class members can get for these settlements. The amount will depend on how many people have applied for settlement.

If you believe you are eligible to become a party to this class action, you can apply by August 25 and August 11, 2023, respectively.

How to get money from Turkish Airlines, which allegedly did not return money to customers for canceled flights

Turkish Airlines has allegedly not refunded many flights canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic and is set to settle a class action lawsuit .

If you are a US resident and you purchased tickets for a Turkish Airlines flight that was scheduled to depart to, from or within the US between March 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021 and your flight was canceled by Turkish Airlines and you do not cancel your flight or fail to show up for the first leg of the flight before the last leg is cancelled, then you may be eligible to become a member of the class. (Other conditions to be included in the calculation: you must not request and receive a voucher, receive a rebooking, or receive a refund for the full amount of a canceled flight.)

You can receive a full refund plus an interest payment of 1% of the value of the unused ticket or 1% of the value of the unused segment for partially used tickets. If you have already received a refund, you can choose between $10 cash or a $45 voucher for future Turkish Airlines travel.

You do not need proof of purchase if you received a settlement notice by email or mail. If you did not receive a notification, please enter your ticket reservation number(s) when submitting your claim.

If you are eligible, you can claim part of the compensationby submitting the claim form by August 18, 2023.

How to get a bill from DirecTV that called people without consent

Under the agreement, DirecTV violated the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by making unsolicited telemarketing calls to people whose phone numbers were on the National Do Not Call Registry.

If your phone number was on the National Do Not Call Registry and you received more than one phone call in any twelve month period from DirecTV AC1 Communications, you are eligible to become a member of the class. A sealed court document lists 113,997 specific phone numbers that were illegally contacted.

If you received these telemarketing calls from AC1, you can expect a minimum cash payout of $324. Estimated average cash payout is over $461. You don’t need proof to apply – you can check your eligibility by submitting your phone number to the admin website.

How to get a refund from Roblox that misled kids about over-purchases

The class action lawsuit alleges that Roblox took advantage of children by allowing them to make excessive purchases on the platform and then removed the relevant content as a front.

If you had a Roblox account before May 11, 2023 and your content on the Roblox platform was moderated and removed by Roblox, you are entitled to this agreement.

You can get a share of the Net Settlement Fund, which will vary depending on how much you spent on items in Roblox. If your estimated share is more than $10, you may be able to receive benefits in the form of a cash payment. Otherwise it will be Roblox account credit.

You can file a claim here until August 10, 2023. You don’t need a claim form if you want to get a credit to your Roblox account instead of paying in cash.

How to get a refund from SeatGeek who didn’t refund some customers for canceled events

SeatGeek has not provided customers with full refunds for events canceled during the pandemic, in violation of the company’s buyer guarantee policy.

If you purchased tickets to a live event through the SeatGeek mobile website between September 10, 2019 and March 17, 2020 and the event was canceled and not rescheduled, you may be eligible for this settlement. To become a member of the class, you must receive a loan from SeatGeek without choosing to take a loan; paid SeatGeek for the event; did not receive a refund for the canceled event; and did not use the loan provided to you.

If the above applies to you, you are entitled to a refund equal to the amount of each transaction. Be aware that SeatGeek has a list of eligible class members who have already received notifications.

The amount you receive in compensation will vary for each class member, depending on the size of your event and your circumstances.

How to get compensation for a Chrysler car that stalls

This agreement states that some Chrysler Pacifica vehicles may suddenly lose power and stall.

If you are the current or former owner of or leased a 2017-2021 Chrysler Pacifica equipped with a 3.6L V6 engine and 9-speed transmission, then you are eligible for this settlement. Vehicles must be originally sold by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) in the US.

You can apply for a refund even if you have already paid for a replacement crankshaft position sensor, as long as you have the receipt. You can also file a claim with the Arbitration Settlement Program if you want FCA to buy or replace your vehicle.

The potential reward amount will depend on your specific situation, the repairs made and the options chosen.
