Reservation Dogs is a teen comedy-drama that takes America’s small-town aesthetic and turns it on its head, following the lives of four rebellious children – Elora, Bear, Cheese and Willie Jack – who live on a Native American reservation in Oklahoma. . The show, created by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi, also focuses on the wider reservation community, but focuses on teen wrestling. The group promises to save up enough money to escape their small town and move to California, but their California dream becomes more and more distant as financial problems and conflicting priorities lead to disagreements.
In Season 2, the group finally made it out of their small town to begin their epic journey to California. Of course, they run into trouble along the way – both within themselves, with each other, and with the world at large – and the third season begins with their return to the reservation, where they return to where they started. A recurring theme of Reservation Dogs is the importance of being part of a community, even when it’s hard to come to terms with who you are and where you’re from.
Have the dog reservations been cancelled?
Unfortunately yes. FX and series creator Sterlyn Harjo have confirmed that the third season of Reservation Dogs will be the series’ last. The season will have 10 episodes, just like the second. The first season has only eight, bringing the total to 28 episodes.
Where and when to stream Reservation Dogs Season 3
Reservation Dogs is a Hulu exclusive and you can stream the third and final season there along with the rest of the series. The season will premiere on August 2, 2023, but will not air all at once — the first two episodes will air together, with additional episodes released every week on Wednesday after that.
Is Reservation Dogs Worth Watching?
No questions. After two seasons , Reservation Dogs still has a near-perfect record on Rotten Tomatoes , and I didn’t expect the third season to be any different.
