Where to Watch Castlevania: Nocturne (and What You Should Know About It)

For those who still had doubts, Netflix’s Castlevania anime dispelled the notion that all video game adaptations are bad. This series follows an unlikely trio of characters – Trevor Belmonte, Sif Belnades and Alucard – who go to war against Dracula and his army of vampires. Following the success of the series, a new spin-off titled Castlevania: Nocturne has appeared, featuring a new character, Richter Belmont.

Castlevania: Nocturne takes place during the French Revolution when the vampire queen, Elizabeth Bathory, colludes with the French aristocracy. Richter’s adventure is to stop Erzsébet with the help of the Caribbean sorceress Annette and the sorceress Marie Renard. The trailer portrays Richter as a very different protagonist than Trevor Belmont.
