Product Safety Commission Warns to Stop Use of These Fryers Immediately
US Cosori has voluntarily recalled over two million units of its fryers due to faulty wiring that can lead to overheating, fire and risk of burns. The recall affected several of their models, which were distributed throughout the country. According to a US Consumer Product Safety Commission recall , US Cosori received 205 official reports of fryer fires, fires, melting, overheating, or smoking. Incidents include 10 minor burns and 23 minor property damage reports.
What triggered the deep fryer recall
According to Kosori, they have found that closed-end crimp connectors in recalled fryers, which are responsible for making electrical connections between certain wires, can fail and overheat, leading to a potential fire hazard.
Which Cosori deep fryers are responding?
All recalled devices have “Cosori” written on the front and you can find the model number printed on the bottom label of each device ( as shown in this image ) and in the company’s user manual (if you still have it). They are all 3.7 or 5.8 quartz size and come in black, grey, white, blue or red ( see image of them here ). The following model numbers of Cosori fryers are subject to recall:

The recall states that air fryers were sold from June 2018 to December 2022 for between $70 and $130 at Best Buy, Target, and Home Depot stores nationwide, and online at Amazon, Adorama, Bed Bath & Beyond, Cosori , eBay, Home Goods, Kohls, Lowes, Macys, QVC, Staples, VeSync, Walmart, Wayfair, Wellbots and Woot!.
What to do if you have one of the recalled fryers
The US CPSC recommends that you stop using fryers immediately and contact Cosori to receive a free replacement fryer or other Cosori product by completing the registration form here .
