What Do You Forget to Clean in Every Room

Spring cleaning time is just around the corner, and while you’re preparing your usual to-do list , there are a few things you might overlook. This is fine; we all have blind spots. Let’s take a look at a few places you’ll probably forget about so you can add them to your checklist.

in your bathroom

You already know how to clean the toilet (and how not to ) and the bath. You don’t have water stains and your tiles are flawless . Forget something? These may be:

In your kitchen

Cleaning the kitchen is certainly important, which is why we always talk about different ways to do it . The counter, oven, and dishes are great when you’re washing the basics, but don’t forget—or pretend to “forget”—these things:

  • Clean under and behind your main appliances ( which you can do without moving them ).
  • When starting the oven, do not forget the warming box.
  • Vacuum the top of the refrigerator.
  • Clean and sanitize drawers and handles on cabinets, refrigerators, and microwaves.
  • Clean and sanitize the buttons you press on your stove and microwave.
  • Wipe down the top and bottom of cabinets.

In your living room

Do you pay attention to cleaning the kitchen and bathroom for sanitary reasons, which makes sense, but the living room? It’s all about aesthetics, baby. After all, you want to impress your guests. Impress them even more by remembering:

  • Dust off your plants (even artificial ones).
  • Blow out the candles.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched items such as remote controls and stands.
  • Dust off photo frames.
  • Remove sofa and chair cushions and vacuum under them for a terrifying surprise.

In your bedroom

Your bedroom is the area that is entirely devoted to you, so treat yourself to a very clean one. Try to clean them to get bonus points:

  • Wipe down the curtain rods when throwing the curtains into the wash.
  • Clean and sanitize frequently touched items such as alarm clocks, drawer handles, and anything on your nightstand.
  • Clean your hangers, especially if you’re dry-cleaning and they’re outside.
