What’s New at Paramount+ in January 2023

I used to think that Paramount+ would only be defined as the home of Star Trek – aside from the catalog series, it’s the only place to see new spin-offs like Discovery , Strange New Worlds , Picard and Prodigy . But over the past year, another booming franchise has emerged: The Tyler Sheridan Television Universe.

In the last 12 months or so, four Sheridan-produced shows have been launched on the streamer, including two prequels to the hit Yellowstone from 1883 and 1923 , the darkly funny Fish Out of Water drama Tulsa King , and the Jeremy series. . Renner-led crime series Mayor of Kingstown, which releases its second season on January 15.

And that’s not all! Later, in 2023, Lioness of Sheridan, about a team of government counterterrorism agents, will premiere at Paramount+ . I think we can all agree that this is Sheridan’s shit.

When will Wolfpack premiere on Paramount+?

If you’re worried that the prolific creator is holding network executives hostage or anything, January will also mark Sarah Michelle Gellar’s return to TV, roughly two decades after Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended (I don’t count her interim tenures on the Ringer series). or The Crazy Ones , which were pretty bad and quickly cancelled) starring in Wolf Pack (January 26) from the team that brought you Teen Wolf to MTV. After learning which side her bread is buttered on, the show includes supernatural jokes. You can probably guess what kind.
