How to Make an Egg Yolk Omelette Without Pissing Off James Corden [updated]

I am convinced that wealth and fame do terrible things to your brain. It seems to rob you of empathy, especially if you’re a mid-level celebrity with mid-low talent whose only real trick is getting really talented people to sing with you in the car. Such is the case with James Corden, who was 86 from New York’s Balthazar restaurant for throwing a tantrum when his wife’s “egg yolk omelet” came along with a little protein in the mix . A few minutes after they got their food, James called their waitress, MK, and told her that there was some egg white mixed in the egg yolk. MK informed the G floor manager. The kitchen redid the dish but unfortunately sent it with homemade fries instead of salad. That’s when James Corden started yelling like crazy at the server, “You can’t do your job! You can’t do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and make my own omelette!”

This is obviously an embarrassing way for a grown man to behave. In terms of offensive things, but not technically crimes, being rude to people in the service industry is, in my opinion, one of the most disgusting things a person can do. I also highly doubt that James Corden could have made an egg yolk omelet completely devoid of protein, because separating eggs is easy, but difficult to do perfectly due to the fact that two servings are made from the same shell and tend to cling to each other. for a friend. In any case, as a big fan of yolks and a dislike for James Corden, I find this story delightful. An egg yolk omelet? Also quite tasty, although less economical to prepare than a regular whole egg omelet. The omelet you see at the top of this blog requires four yolks and all five bites. Yolks also contain less protein than a whole egg – 2.7 grams versus 6 grams, respectively.

Despite this, they are very tasty. They are rich, almost cheesy and surprisingly tender. I like to simmer until the top is set but still slightly moist, then roll it up and just season it with salt and pepper.

Omelet with egg yolk

Ingredients:

  • 4 (or more) egg yolks
  • 1/4 teaspoon butter
  • Large pinch of salt
  • More salt and pepper

Separate egg yolks from whites. Use your hands to do this, being careful to get as much white through your fingers as possible so you don’t upset James Corden’s wife and yell James Corden at him.

Lightly stir the yolks with a fork and season them with a very generous pinch of salt. Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt a little butter in the skillet. Pour the yolks into the pan and let them cook without stirring until the edges look dry but the top still looks wet. Roll up the omelet with a spatula, then transfer to a plate and season with salt and pepper.
