Everything Coming to PlayStation Plus and Xbox Gamepass in August 2022
Like your favorite video streaming apps, the major subscription gaming services Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus add and remove new content every month.
In August, the recently updated PlayStation Plus services received several important additions, including the Yakuza line of games. Yakuza: Like A Dragon is one of the free games available to all PS Plus subscribers. Yakuza 0 , Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are also available for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. All other free games of the month are available to all PS Plus subscribers, including the remakes of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 and the horror-themed platformer Little Nightmares .
For Xbox players, Games with Gold free games include the standout indie titles Calico and ScourgeBringer for Xbox One and Xbox X/S, as well as the classic Saints Row 2 for Xbox 360 thanks to backwards compatibility, meaning you can play, using Series X/S graphics. improvements such as increased frame rates.
Xbox (and PC) players can also try several new Day 1 game releases for free through Game Pass, such as the highly anticipated adventure game FMV Immortality and school sim Two Point Campus, among others. Although this month there is something to play on Xbox and PC. We should also note that beloved hack-and-slash roguelite Hades is leaving Game Pass on August 16th – so give it a whirlwind if you’ve been procrastinating.
