11 Kettlebell Exercises for Beginners

Want to add kettlebell exercises to your program but don’t know where to start? Here are 11 beginner-friendly exercises that you can do with kettlebells lurking in the corner of your gym or kettlebells you might have at home. We’ll start with the more accessible stuff and move on to some useful but slightly more difficult steps towards the end of our list.

For any of these movements, use a light kettlebell the first time you do them. If it’s too easy, try something heavier and move higher as needed. Many of these movements can be done with dumbbells or other weights, so consider checking this list any time you need something new, no matter your equipment.
