Here’s what’s happening in July on Disney+, the month when the biggest premiere is the third entry in the High School Musical Zombies TV movie series.

” Zombies 3 ” (July 15) is the sequel to two films I wouldn’t know existed if it weren’t for my young children, and is set in a world where zombies exist, but more like an unpopular teenage cabal than an outright threat. Did I mention these are musicals? Yes. Fans of musicals set in high school are also sure to rejoice at the return of High School Musical: The Series , a television series based on the popular high school music movie franchise. You understand. Here are the rest of the month’s releases, including the intriguing Light and Magic (July 27), a documentary series that promises to take us into the world of George Lucas’ famed special effects studio, Industrial Light and Magic.
