Print to PDF, no printer needed

The best option for exporting any page to PDF is hidden in plain sight: both Windows and Mac include PDF as a print option, so even if you don’t have a printer, you can use the Print feature to save the current page or document. in PDF format. This option will work in browsers like Chrome, Edge, Safari and document editors like Word.

Press the “Menu” button with three dots in Chrome or Edge and select the ” Print ” option. Select the ” Save as PDF ” option from the drop-down list. You can preview or edit a PDF before saving it to local storage using the Save button.

Save as PDF on Android

Chrome on Android supports the same “Print as PDF” feature. Open a website in Chrome, press the three-dot menu button, and select the Share option.

On the second row, click the Print button. You will now see a preview of the web page. Tap the dropdown and select the ” Save as PDF ” option. Click the Save button (with a PDF icon) to save the PDF file to your local storage. From here, you can share the PDF with any contact or application.

Convert any web page to PDF in Safari on iPhone or iPad

If you’re using Safari on an iPhone or iPad, the PDF document is just a tap away. Open the page in Safari and click the Share button. At the top, click the ” Options ” button. Here, select ” PDF ” to share the full document, or use the ” PDF Reader ” option to share just the text and images from the page as a PDF. Click the ” Done ” button to return.

You can now use any of the options on the Share page. You can email the PDF to someone, share it via iMessage, or save it to the Files app.
