Here Are (Almost) All the Free Games Available When PlayStation Plus Launches
Today, PlayStation announced an impressive list of games that will be available to customers after the launch of new PlayStation Plus levels. Sony says this list is incomplete, so expect more titles as the launch plans get closer, but make no mistake: it’s a gigantic list, and next month’s PlayStation Plus launch will be even more exciting.
As a reminder, PlayStation is merging its PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus subscriptions into a new PlayStation Plus service , which includes both online gaming and a long list of “free” games (free to play after subscribing to paid plans, of course). ). The new service launches in North America on June 13th and provides players with more options for online gaming on PlayStation.
There are now three tiers to choose from: PlayStation Plus Essential, which is very similar to what you’d expect from an old PlayStation Plus subscription; PlayStation Plus Extra, which has everything that was in Essential and added a huge library of around 400 games; and PlayStation Plus Premium, which takes everything from the first two tiers and adds an additional 340 titles to play, including via cloud streaming (for markets where cloud streaming isn’t available, there’s PlayStation Plus Deluxe).

The main piece of information missing from Sony’s announcement is which free games will be available for all PlayStation Plus plans in June. Those planning to subscribe to PlayStation Plus Essential will likely be disappointed by this news as the list of games above is mostly for Extra and Premium/Deluxe subscribers only.
