The “chunks” in This Recalled Peanut Butter May Be Metal Fragments

If peanut butter is a staple in your kitchen and pantry, check the brand and label to see if it’s part of a voluntary recall issued by Skippy Foods, LLC. According to a company announcement, which was also published on the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) website , the product is being recalled due to the possible presence of small metal particles. Why is Skippy recalling peanut butter?

To date, there have been no consumer injuries or other complaints related to this recall, and all retailers who received affected peanut butter have been notified.
