Don’t Miss Out on the Free and Cheap Food You Can Get for Super Bowl LVI
Even if you don’t follow the football season, we must inform you that it will soon come to an end. Not because you should feel pressured to watch the playoffs and get to know the teams moving forward, but because the Super Bowl is exactly two weeks away, which means food deals are plentiful.
This year’s Super Bowl LVI will take place on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles starting at 6:30 pm EST. But you don’t have to know (or care about) quarterbacks and touchdowns to take advantage of these food offerings.
And, to be completely transparent, not all of them are Super Bowl related: we’ve also added a few Valentine’s Day meal deals and freebies that will also be available on the 13th. Here are a few to keep in mind when planning a big game meal plan.
Appleby
While the chain has yet to announce their annual Super Bowl specials, they have stated that they will be offering $5 “Smoocho Mucho Sips” shakes in February.
Italian Grilled Carrabba
This is technically also a Valentine’s Day offer, but if you use it on the 13th, it’s a Super Bowl deal. Either way, from Thursday, Feb. 10 through Monday, Feb. 21, you can get a four-course dinner for two for $60 to eat at a restaurant or at home with delivery or takeaway.
DiGiorno
If the score reflects the first three digits of Pi (3-14 or 14-3) at any point in the game, the Frozen Pizza Company will issue coupons for one free pizza. For a chance to win one of these, you must register to enter the draw online between February 6th and 13th.
Ibotta
The Ibotta app offers a “Big Game Party Pack”, which is actually a set of discounts on popular snacks. There are a lot of rules/guidelines for this, but it looks like people who are new to the app can get a full discount on the items in the party pack if they buy all six products on the list. These:
- Frozen pizza Red Baron or Freschetta
- bubble seltzer water
- Tortilla chips “Mission”
- Craft sharp grated cheddar cheese
- Lighthouse at home style ranch
- Chocolate cookies Nestle Toll House

McAlister’s Delhi
From February 12 to 14 from 17:00 to 20:00 you can get 50% off their new steak dishes when you buy a new steak dish. You must order through their app and use promo code STEAK22.
McDonald’s
Get any two Big Macs, a Cheesy Quarter Pound, 10 Chicken McNuggets, or Filet -O-Fish Sandwiches for $6 when ordering through the McDonald’s app.
Steakhouse in the Outback
From February 10 to February 14, you can get four-course specials starting at $54 per person.
Wendy
They are not Super Bowl specific, but available February 13th, so they count. First, if you start your day with a breakfast sandwich, you can get a free drink of any size when ordering through the Wendy’s app. You can also get a free average order of french fries with any other purchase made through their app. However, you can’t take advantage of both offers on the same day, so don’t rush.
