9 Creative Ways to Reuse K-Cups

For many years I had Kerig. I loved my Keurig and its compact pods that promise just enough coffee to make the perfect cup without having to measure. But every time I carelessly tossed one of those plastic containers in the trash: guilt. They are non-recyclable and non-biodegradable, and throwing away capsules every day never seemed right. (That doesn’t even line up with Keurig founder John Sylvan, who, facing mounting environmental criticism, told The Atlantic , “Sometimes I feel bad for ever doing it.”)

This is an important reason why I parted ways with my Keurig (it’s also a leak of unknown origin), but I wish I knew there were many other ways to use these K-Cups after my coffee was brewed.
