10 Best Exercises You Can Do Without Getting Out of Bed

There are many reasons to stay in bed these days. Temperatures are getting colder and COVID cases are on the rise again . If you want to stay under the covers but still want to fit in some movement, we’ve rounded up some exercises you can do without getting out of bed.

If you’re in good health, these exercises in bed can be a better-than-nothing part of your workout. Otherwise, the main benefits of these exercises and stretching are that you need to stay in bed for some reason, such as if you are recovering from an illness. For example, if your mattress is not too firm, the gluteal bridge can cause severe neck discomfort. Something like raising your legs, on the other hand, should in theory be quite similar to how it is done on a yoga mat. If any of the exercises cause you pain or discomfort, stop immediately.
