Christmas Trees, Stocking Stuffing, and Other Holiday Essentials Available From Uber Eats

Are you balancing your consumption of Christmas cookies with Uber Eats for tacos and Pad See Ew (my personal holiday tradition)? Well, you can now leave this app open for your holiday shopping. Here’s how you can use a food delivery service to buy holiday essentials, including stocking fillings and the tree itself, at her new ” holiday center .”

This feature may come in handy this year more than others, as holiday shopping will be impacted by supply chain disruptions due to the pandemic. If you’ve run into unexpected hurdles this year trying to get your hands on your holiday essentials, ordering them to go may be the right decision for you.

How the Uber Eats Holiday Center works

Open the Uber Eats app and tap the Holiday billboard. You can also search for what you want using holiday emojis such as a Christmas tree, a gift box, or even Mr. and Mrs. Claus. In this hub, you can virtually view the festive rows of outlets such as Rite Aid, GoPuff, Walgreens and others. Until December 31st, you can also get $ 20 off on orders of $ 60 or more at participating stores including Mr. Jingles and Bed Bath & Beyond.

At the moment, tree delivery is only available in some cities. Uber customers in Los Angeles, San Diego, and West Palm Beach can order 2 feet to 4 feet of Christmas trees or 5 to 10 feet of Christmas trees to be picked up. Customers in New York can order delivery wreaths.

More seasonal offers

Uber first tried out its holiday hub earlier this year with pumpkins and carving kits for Halloween, and is expected to unveil seasonal deals for Valentine’s Day in 2022 as well. I think chocolate, roses and … napkin boxes for your grief? Time will tell.
