Get $ 1000 for a 90s Style Binge-Watch Rom-Com
Depending on who you ask, the 90s was the last decade of romantic comedies. Of course, there were those in the early 2000s, but the genre, known for its crappy storylines and setting unrealistic dating expectations for almost everyone, kind of faded after that.
But we’re not here to argue when the golden age of romantic comedy has arrived. We’re here to talk about a monthly position that pays $ 1,000 to watch 10 classic 90s rom-coms. Here’s what you need to know.
What the job entails
The successful candidate will work with Shane Co. and the challenge is pretty simple: watch and take notes on 10 pre-selected 1990s romantic comedies in one month. They will be provided with a worksheet for each movie, which they will fill out while watching, keeping track of specific details.
10 romantic comedies were selected for the task:

- 10 things I don’t like about you
- Never been Kissed
- Ignorant
- There is something about Mary
- Insomnia in Seattle
- My best friend’s wedding
- You have a new message
- runaway Bride
- Notting hill
The person selected for the role will be notified by December 6, 2021 no later than December 6, 2021 and will have to watch the films, complete worksheets and send them back by December 27, 2021. The payment for the assignment is USD 1,000. The successful candidate will also receive a $ 50 Amazon Gift Card to rent the films on the list.

To apply for a job, you must be at least 18 years old and be a US citizen or permanent resident. Ideally, Shane Co. would like someone with:
- A real obsession with romantic comedies
- Love for everything cinematic
- Possibility and availability of 10 films in a short period of time.
