Get These Black Friday PC Game Deals Now From the Comfort of Your Couch

Nice weekend to stay at home and download video games. While Black Friday isn’t yet another week in real life, PlayStation and Xbox are already running virtual Black Friday sales in their online stores, so you can buy some cheap games without waiting in long lines at Wal-Mart. While Nintendo’s online store is not part of the Black Friday sale, it also offers some interesting downloads at discounted prices for November.

Black Friday discounts on the Xbox Games store

Microsoft’s Black Friday discounts are available until November 22nd. Here are my personal picks from the general list, which you can view here .

Halo: Master Chief Collection : Explore the story of Halo ahead of the release of Halo Infinite on December 8th. This bundle contains updated versions of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4 for just $ 20.

Far Cry 6 : In addition to a huge map, great fights and an interesting plot of revolution on a tropical island, this first-person open-world game features the greatest pet in video game history: the legendary punk rock revolutionary Chicharron ! Far Cry 6 is just a month old and you can buy it for $ 40 .

Assassin’s Creed Pack : If you like Assassin’s Creed , this set is a ridiculously good deal. It contains the three most recent Assassin’s Creed games ( Valhalla, Odyssey and Origins ) for $ 47.99 – that’s easily 300 hours of great gameplay for less than one new game.

Lawn Mowing Simulator : I haven’t played this game, but the strange idea is intriguing. I probably wouldn’t pay full price for “feel the beauty and detail of a British countryside haircut,” but the price has dropped from $ 29.99 to $ 22.49, so maybe I’ll give it a try.

PlayStation Store Black Friday

PlayStation Black Friday sales begin on November 19th and end on November 29th. Take a look at my picks:

Deathloop ; This first-person shooter has received rave reviews for its intense action and time-loop storyline. It’s only a couple of months old and sells for half the price. ( Note : It’s unclear if the PS Store has yet updated its listing to reflect the selling price, or if Deathloop ‘s half discount applies only to the physical version. If so, you can order the disc cheaply on Amazon .)

Madden NFL 22 : This soccer sim is a must-buy game for sports players every year and is actually worth a yearly purchase, especially at half price. (Note: Madden’s pricing is really weird. The Playstation 5 Madden downloads are $ 50 and below $ 100. The PlayStation 4 downloads are $ 29.99, discounted from $ 60. The PS5 retail version costs $ 70 US $, retails for US $ 39 ).

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR : Skyrim is so good that I want to play it in VR, although VR gives me a headache. This is also only $ 20.

Rez Infinite : The abstract puzzle game Rez has been one of the most unique games on the PlayStation 2, and this reboot brings it back in all its weird, trippy glory. Plus: added virtual reality. You can try this for as little as nine dollars.

Nintendo Online Store

Nintendo has always done things differently, including on Black Friday. Big N has announced some interesting real-world deals , but Nintendo eShop seems to be doing business as usual. But there are still some lucrative deals to be made in November:

Tropico 6 : I’ve been addicted to simulations since Sim City 2000 took a month off my life, and I love Tropico’s approach to the genre: you are the leader of a banana republic who can rule your stolen fiefdom with mercy or an iron. fist. The Switch version costs less than $ 30.

Yoga Master : Nintendo’s motion control and its ‘every home’ success has resulted in a slew of unexplained games that seem to target gamer moms. I have no idea if Yoga Master is a good game or a good exercise program, but it’s only $ 18, so I’ll give her namaste .

Crysis Remastered Trilogy : Back in 2007, having a PC that could run Crysis with full specs was the best gaming twist. The Nintendo Wii would have been laughed at. These assholes wouldn’t laugh now if they saw you running Crysis, Crysis 2, and Crysis 3 on your Switch, especially when you only paid $ 40 for all three.
