Today is my favorite day as I finally have a reason to write about both snails and the greatest band in music history: The Mountain Goats. A tough indie / lo-fi / folk punk / rock band go viral on TikTok , with 16 million views on a hashtag full of youngsters using their searing divorce epic No Children as background music in tons of videos. Children get tattoos and even dance to the dull, soul-destroying chorus of the song: “I’m drowning. There are no signs of land. You walk with me, hand in hand unloved. I hope you die. I hope we both die. “
The Mountain Goats is owned by 54-year-old singer, songwriter, and literary novelist John Darniel, whose viral response makes him a role model for all out-of-reach adults. “There is a certain joy in a kind of feeling that, well, there is something going on in the kids that I’m not going to fully understand , but I can just enjoy watching, ” Darniel told Vox . “I think people are scared of getting older and they’re afraid they’ll feel left out, but sometimes there’s a bit of buoyancy in this non-statutory capacity if you drive right.”

TikTok star JinnKid accused of double murder
Ali Abulaban scored almost a million subscribers to its TikTok for his comedic video, but the 29-year-old man, known on the network as JinnKid, now do not laugh. Viral Video of the Week: Lightyear Trailer
Tens of millions of fans have watched and shared ateaser trailer for the upcoming Pixar Lightyear movie since its release yesterday. The Lightyear, which chronicles the origins of Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story , is slated for release in the summer of 2022.
Leaving aside the question of why the toy could even have an origin story * other than I Was Made in a Factory, Lightyear’s trailer is stunning, promising a movie full of reckless space action with a lucid edge.
