Apple’s WatchOS 8 doesn’t exactly change the overall Apple Watch experience (nor does Series 7, for that matter). Instead, the update adds a number of fun, useful, and otherwise long-awaited improvements and features to the tiny Apple devices we know and love. Reminder: Not all watchOS 8 features are available on all Apple Watch models that support this update. After all, Apple supports watches all the way up to Series 3. It’s nice to see that the company has been offering smartwatch updates since 2017, so cutting off some of the corners might just be a nice compromise.
