These 23 States Stop Paying Additional $ 300 a Week Unemployment Benefits

Citing labor shortages, 23 states announced that they are abandoning the federal government’s unemployment assistance program, which includes a $ 300 per week supplement in government employment benefits. Here’s a look at which states are stopping payments and when they will be cut off.

Which states are waiving federal unemployment assistance?

Below is a list of states that are waiving the federal unemployment program and the expiry dates for those benefits. All states to waive $ 300 weekly co- payment for Federal Pandemic Unemployment Insurance (FPUC); Extended Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) benefits for workers and part-time workers; 13-week extension of the deadline for payment of benefits for the payment of benefits in connection with the Emergency Unemployment Pandemic (PEUC); and a weekly US $ 100 Unemployment Insurance Benefit (MEUC) benefit, which is paid to people who have both W-2 income and unemployment income.
