Get $ 1,000 to Explore Your State This Summer

After a year locked up inside with some minor travel travel, we’re more than ready to hit the road. Sure, it would be nice to travel to faraway places, but (probably) there is a lot to see right here in your home state.

If you’re looking for an excuse to pack up a car and see the sights of your state, you might be interested in applying for the “Chief Adventurer” position, which provides $ 1,000 and several other perks. Here’s what you need to know.

What the job entails

The title of “Chief Adventurer” will correspond to comparison site WhistleOut and include:

  • Planning a trip to a scenic outdoor location in your state
  • Choosing a new smartphone under $ 1000 (which you will receive as part of your compensation package)
  • Taking pictures of your state’s natural beauty with a new phone
  • Share photos on social media

The full compensation package includes a new smartphone, travel reimbursements of up to $ 500 and $ 1,000 in cash.

How to apply

You don’t have to be a professional photographer to apply – just someone who can take a picture with their phone is enough. So what is WhistleOut looking for in an adventure service chief?

“We’re primarily looking for those with an adventure at heart – people who would rather climb the mountain than drink the latest Netflix hit (don’t worry, we won’t judge you if you’re still watching this show)”, in the description the post is said . “You’re a little bigger than Indiana Jones and a lot smaller than Scooby and Shaggy.”

To apply, you must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States. From there, the process is pretty straightforward. Just complete this application form (scroll down) including an explanation of why you are suitable for the job (100 words or less).

Applications must be received by 8:00 pm ET on May 21st. The winner will be announced on the WhistleOut YouTube channel at 2:00 pm ET on May 28, as well as via email. They will have seven days to accept or decline the offer.
