Sara Lee Remembered Your Dessert Because of “undeclared Peanuts”?

What is remembered?
According to Sara Lee’s announcement, which was subsequently posted on the FDA’s website on May 12, 2021, certain batches of select Sara Lee, Chef Pierre and Devonshire pecan tarts produced between March 4 to April 1, 2021, are in production. recalled because they could be contaminated with peanuts. The FDA says that so far there have been no reports of diseases caused by the consumption of these pies by a person with a peanut allergy, which has spread throughout the country.

What to do if you purchased one of the recalled items
Well, if you are allergic to peanuts, of course, stay away from these pies. But the FDA recommends that anyone who thinks they have purchased any of the recalled products confirm the batch code with their pecan pie supplier, and if it turns out that you are the owner of the potentially problematic peanut pie, you are eligible for a full refund.
